Passage is a movement through time and space, light and shadow; a body of work that glimpses into an inner world with Nature as compass and muse.

In my explorations from painting narratives to abstractions I have come upon these passage ways. And, as if between two worlds, they have presented entry into another realm. It is a journey of surrendering, a softening ~ becoming fluid with life’s natural rhythms, learning to listen. The continuum whispers of its impermanence and invites the viewer to engage.

Each painting is a moment captured; a memory, an emotion that takes form in color and light dances into the frame, merges with the horizon and disappears into flight. And in its passage, reminds us of the true essence, beauty and grace that life is.
