Dislocations

This body of work represents a mental and physical attempt to resolve the conflict between chaos and balance. The eight auspicious symbols from Tibetan Buddhist are manipulated through tearing, staining, dislocating and burring with pigment and wax to portray this battle.

All paintings are on panel and are wax, oil paint, coffee stained collage and encaustic.
